Amina Knowles is one of the owners of  PAW Solutions Inc a company that offers Tax, Credit and Business Funding Solutions that help consumers and entrepreneurs reach their personal and professional goals. Amina is a Tax professional and serial entrepreneur turn passionate about business funding when she isn't working you will catch her chatting with her daughter or researching spiritual growth concepts along with businesses, industries, and trends.
  
What were some obstacles that you faced in the beginning process of starting your business or career? The Biggest Obstacle was telling myself I could start this business I had to be sure I had access to all the things I needed and plan to use in the near future. 

What inspired you to break into your particular industry? I was inspired to start my company for business credit because I like helping others avoid the mistakes I made when I started my first business because I didn't know about business credit I tried to maintain my personal lifestyle and my company on my personal finances.  

How do you balance your personal and professional life or have you been able to find a balance? I haven't perfected it I'm still working to find my balance I prioritize task and obligations with whatever keeps me up at night should be completed as soon as possible.  

What is an inspirational quote that you live by? Believe you can do or be anything you want as long as you put in the work. 

Who were some influential people or mentors that helped or encouraged you along the way? Tony Gaskins has always inspired and motivated me I love all Napoleon Hill books my personal mentor Donni Wiggins I love her energy she pushes me and she is a very relatable person. 

What are your "must-haves" to keep your career or business going strong? My Spirituality fuels everything I do, my Funding Agents and people with a dream. 

What is your definition of a BOSS? I define a BOSS as someone who works well under pressure who takes accountability for their team must be a good planner and who doesn't expect anything from anyone without proper compensation. A Boss is a person who creates new leaders.

BOSS & Sage Announce 2024 Invest in Progress Grant Winners

We’re excited to announce the recipients of the 2024 Invest in Progress Grant, a collaborative initiative by Sage and The BOSS Network . This partnership has seen Sage commit funding over three years to empower small businesses with the resources they need to thrive. The selected recipients stand out for their dedication to community, entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to grow their professional skills.  Each will be awarded a $10,000 grant and gain access to a year-long monthly mentorship program through BOSS Business University. This online platform is designed to provide the tools and knowledge necessary to successfully launch or grow a business. The partnership, in its third year, received almost 12,000 applicants nationwide.
