  How well are you managing yourself during this pandemic as the holiday festivities begin? Unless you begin preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas during the summer, the flurry of emails, texts, and ads to buy have bombarded us since Halloween. Frankly, that can be stressful, especially with everything else you have on your plate. Which one of these are you? “I’m prepared for the holidays, but…” Maybe you are attending one Zoom meeting after another and aren’t eating healthy or staying hydrated. Or perhaps you could benefit from an adequate morning routine of exercise, prayer, meditation, and breakfast. Could it be that you’re the last one in bed at night, because “chores won’t take care of themselves”; and you also get up (in the middle of the night) when the baby needs feeding, or your 3-year-old has nightmares.  Face it - you are taking care of everyone else: your family, your co-workers, your clients! Why do people compete in the world of entrepreneurship and business? I am still trying to figure out this answer myself. I believe when people compete for the same promotion, the same customers, and the same opportunities, you are doing a disservice to yourself and the people you are called to serve. There is more than enough blessing for all of us to receive. When God gave one person a blessing he did not stop there, he has a special blessing for you too. Competition is operating from a place of lack.  The reality is you cannot grow or get to the next level in your own business if you are busy worrying about what others are doing. Instead of trying to be better or bigger than the next person, find out how you can give and receive support from others. Collaboration is the key to growth and success.
