TheBOSSNetwork: What were some obstacles that you faced in the beginning process of starting your business or career?

Dr. MissyJohnson: Working a full-time job and building the business at night is one of the biggest challenges in starting your business. Be bigger scale and they often felt left out of my life.

BN: What inspired you to break into your particular industry?

MJ: My inspiration to move forward in this business is that I answered the call from a higher power. Everyone has a voice crying out to do something great for mankind but often stay comfortable or within the zip code of life. After seeing people I admired and helping others see the greatness within themselves, I said, I can do that and here I am.

BN:How do you balance your personal and professional life or have you been able to find a balance?

MJ: It’s very hard yet obtainable. You must be willing to do things different to get different results. Focus on one thing at a time and master it. Schedule your life, track everything and remove all distractions. Lastly, take time out to self -care.

BN: What is an inspirational quote that you live by?

MJ: That’s easy! I freed a thousand slaves I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves.  Harriet Tubman.Being a slave to your mindset will keep you in bondage and a prisoner of purpose.

BN: Who were some influential people or mentors that helped or encouraged you along the way?

MJ: Lisa Nichols, Tony Robbins, Iyanla Vanzant, and Nelson Mandela

BN: What are your "must-haves" to keep your career or business going strong?

MJ:Must have integrity of the business. Respect each other.Clear communication.  Everything must be in writing. Remove the emotions, this is business not personal.

BN: What is your definition of a BOSS?

MJ: Boss is a person who leads with authentic leadership and have the passion to see other women rise no matter the color of their skin or cultural difference.
