It’s Your Season! By Jena L Bell

It’s  the end of the year and time to usher in a new season.  What does the new year hold for you? Have you started planning, setting goals and making declarations?  For a moment, just imagine a new beginning filled with a new promise for victory embracing new possibilities and greater opportunities.  Imagine your business growing and your personal brand soaring.  Are you ready to take on new adventures that await?   Maybe it’s a new job, promotion, starting a new business or growing an existing business, new relationships, or shedding emotional baggage and bad habits.  Whereever your dreams take you, just imagine you are living your vision standing in your greatness.
What a sight to behold?  If you can imagine it, you can have it! It’s yours for the asking.  Declare your new season!  Claim it while moving past doubts and pushing beyond your fears. Once you have a clear vision,  you can begin to  take steps each day to get closer to what you want.   It will take time and vigilance on your part, but well worth the efforts to  live the life you just imagined.  What will it take for you?   Here are six tips for creating your vision and unleashing new possibilities:
1)  Imagine the impossible and declare it possible.  By simply imagining your dreams, creating a visual image of you actively  participating in the vision, you  open your mind to accepting a greater reality. Your mind expands releasing positive energy that drives positive thoughts.
2)  Boldly declare what you want.  Declarations are more impactful than resolutions because you speak into existence that which you desire.  The act of speaking triggers actions that align with your declarations. Let your declarations become your true compass for your vision.
3)  Let go of the past. What ever happened in the past, let it stay.   Accept it as done and refuse to give it attention in your new vision.  Holding on to past disappointments serve only to block future possibilities. Let go so your arms are free to grab hold to new opportunities that will overshadow the painful effects of the past.
4)  Celebrate your victories . Focus on the quality of victories achieved, not the quantity. - Our natural tendency is to play the numbers game to measure success.  Numbers have a place and must be measured, but non quantifiable metrics are just as important when measuring both impact and significance. Focus on the significance of the impact you make in the lives of the people you serve.
5)  Identify and apply your greatest life lessons.  Focus on lessons learned from situations you encountered and apply to new situations going forward. Look critically not just at the result, but study the patterns and gain new insights that you can use to inform future decisions and provide practical instructions.
6)  Take bold actions.  Map out a plan and act with a sense of urgency.  The actions you take will determine your level of success. Dreams without action become nothing more than fantasies.
Let the new year be the start of  a new season of possibilities unleashed and your greatest potential realized.
