Finding Success and Meaningful Work: Does Your Career Need To Be Reviewed or Renewed?  As I have traveled along my clients’ career journeys and my own I have noticed that we often do not take or make the time to truly evaluate our careers.  It doesn’t matter if you are an entrepreneur, a corporate C-Suiter or just starting your first job—you must find the time to audit yourself! I suggest that you audit your career quarterly—about every 2 to 3 months depending on what your goals are and how you are feeling about your career.  Like life, there are the regular patterns of career growth, success and meeting your goals. Some things you have control over and other things you do not. Being able to review and renew your career on a regular basis keeps you on track and able to withstand any changes and things you do not control like the economy, your boss, being fired or your clients going out of business. My business is going to prosper-but you’re not putting in the appropriate work!  I’m going to start writing my book or blog-but you put your pen down! I’m going to start working out- but you’re still eating all the wrong foods OR better yet, you are depending on someone else to work out with you so now you’re not doing it!-Uh? I’m warning you –Make a Decision people so you want miss your season AGAIN! I need you to know that you are planting seeds. The seed you plant will determine your harvest. You’ve already received the vision-Make a decision(s). So if you are planting mediocre seeds that will be your harvest. Your work will not go in vain-TRUST Me on that!
