Meet The Founder of The BOSS Network: Cameka D. Smith

Cameka D. Smith is the CEO (Chief Eventeur Officer) of City Global Events, Inc and Founder of The BOSS Network.  Her vision is to inspire women to build a legacy by creating opportunities to network, develop and build their brands.  Both her companies focus on female branding and bringing opportunities for women to grow holistically.  She is not ashamed to talk about her faith and how it plays a major role in everything she does.

Her organization The BOSS “Bringing Out Successful Sisters” Network was listed in Forbes.com “10 Best Career Sites For Women” and “Top 100 Websites For Women”. The BOSS Network in a short period of time is becoming one of the fastest growing women organizations illuminating professionalism, sophistication and encouragement while promoting sisterhood.  Her main focus is to build a community of women that will develop, promote and support the next generation of successful sisters while having “growth through networking beyond events”.  Cameka also promotes service to her community by being involved in many charitable efforts and mentoring young women, which are both passions of hers. 

She has done philanthropy with organizations such as Susan G. Komen, Bright Pink, the National Cervical Cancer Coalition and several local and national HIV/AIDS organizations.  She has been featured on the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show and performed in Sharon McGhee’s Pocketbook Monologues, hailed as the “Vagina Monologues with Soul”.  She received her Masters Degree in Education from Northern Illinois University and has worked in education for over 10 years.

Cameka is dedicated to producing flawless events through her vivid imagination, creativity and her commitment to her community that will uplift and inspire women everywhere.

Cameka currently resides in Chicago but constantly travels with her BOSS “Influencers” tour.
