20 Health And Power Tips By BOSS Member Princess Carey


  • Eat a variety of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains every day.
  • Eat a balanced diet to help keep a healthy weight
  • Limit foods and drinks high in calories, sugar, salt, fat, and alcohol.
  • Be active for at least 2½ hours a week. Include activities that raise your breathing and heart rates and that strengthen your muscles.
  • Avoid eating chocolate, thing high in sodium and caffeine especially during your monthly.
  • Wash hands to stop the spread of germs.
  • Avoid smoking and breathing other people’s, or (second hand), smoke.
  • Be ready for emergencies. Gather emergency supplies. Make a plan. Be informed.
  • Get support from family and friends.
  • Take time to relax and rest 7 to 9 hours. Even God rested on the Sabbath day ladies! We are super but our physical body is not invincible!
  • Get help or counseling if needed.
  • Ask your doctor or nurse how you can lower your risk for health problems.
  • Find out what exams, tests, and shots you need and when to get them.
  • See your doctor or nurse for regular check-ups and as often as directed. Get seen if you feel sick, have pain, notice changes, or have problems with medicine.
  • Journaling (writing down your feelings can release unhealthy emotions.)
  • Try new and adventurous things.
  • Smile! Smiling improves your health, stress levels and your attractiveness.
  • Seek a financial counselor to help you with debt issues and money management. Finance problems is the leading cause for stress and divorce.
  • Stay postive and Keep the faith…Don’t give up on yourself and GOD. GOD loves you. If you don’t know anything else in your life, please know that your faith is not in vain.
  • MOST IMPORTANTLY: PRAY PRAY PRAY!!!! Open communication with God improves you faith and over all wellness. Researches show that people who have a spiritual life live twice as long as the average person. How else do you think our forefathers lived to see 95 years old?! They had a real relationship with the creator!
