Think Ridiculous By Avalaura Gaither Beharry

How many times has someone told you to just be realistic? Set a goal you can easily accomplish? Don’t pursue being a business owner, get a job with benefits?  Stop setting yourself up for failure by being unrealistic?
“Being realistic is the most commonly traveled road to mediocrity.” -Will Smith
While they are trying to be helpful because they want to keep you safe and secure, your soul is crying out and they are setting you up for massive failure. No success has been achieved by being realistic. Nothing good comes from staying in your comfort zones. Dreamers, World changers, Inventors, and Creators imagine another way, a better way, an unrealistic way. Why do we celebrate Einstein, Mother Teresa, Tesla, Oprah, Martin Luther King Jr., and Ghandi?  Why will their names live on?
Because they dared to dream! They aspired to create something that had never been done before.  They said forget realistic, forget comfort, forget safety. I'm going to make an impact in the world. I’m going to take risks. I'm going to be ridiculous! The Wright Brothers weren’t the first to imagine objects flying in the air. But they were the first to think ridiculous and create the air plane.
Realistic is a dream killer. Realistic sucks. Realistic is for punks. Realistic is average. Realistic inspires mediocrity. Realistic zaps the life force energy from your soul. Realistic is a self-imposed limitation.  Realistic confines you to what you know, not what God has planned for you.
Want to embrace all that you are for your most incredible life? Want to make an impact on the world?
Go full out! Don’t think realistic. Think Ridiculous. #ThinkRidiculous
