If You're Not Creative Your Business Will Fail By Alexie Young

I teach people how to paint and I surprisingly run into so many people who say, “I’m not creative at all!” They’re almost afraid to smear paint on the canvas because they have affirmed that they aren’t creative. I find myself asking them, how did they choose their outfit or how to they plan their trip to the art studio? Let’s redefine what creative is! It’s especially important for entrepreneur to proclaim ourselves creative! After all, creativity is involved in the basis of how we decide to live out an experience.

At an early age, most of us expressed creativity freely without constraint. As 7 year olds, we would stay true to our original thoughts and spoke our minds without filters. We would let our request be known without limitations. We figured out ways to express ourselves fully. How bold we once were? What’s changed? As we outgrew demanding dispositions, we also shed some of our creative spirit to simply do what is now accepted and what is safe!

While some of us may believe that being creative is all about holding a paintbrush at a precise angle, creativity is more than that. Creativity is what we use to pay that unexpected bill. It’s what helps you move through life when logistics don’t work, furthermore, it sets you apart from the pact in such a divine way. That creative power is the driving force of your success. Are you utilizing the full capacity of your creative power or are you playing everything safe?

Now consider some things that you could do to exercise your creative power. Remember that manifesting creative power is all about how we decide to live out our experiences.

1. Take a small risk like changing something that is usually predictable about you.
This upgrades your troubleshooting skills and gets you out of your own box.

2. Get a mentor, a coach, or a teacher. They are master navigators and can help you bypass certain entrepreneurial hurdles.

3. Your tribe should reflect your vibe! Build out your network and create high quality connections through The BOSS Network.
The more inspiration you can draw from, the more you can fine tune your business.

4. Go to new places, meet new people, do new activities! Try a solo date
sometimes! This helps you create new experiences even if you're
uncomfortable or afraid.

5. Invest in your development, and expand on your talents. If you do something well, learn how to do it more efficiently

The point here is that when you practice life changing activities on a small scale, they are bound to impact the bigger picture. If you can expand your network and stretch your capacity for more experiences, you can increase your ability to be creative essentially by creating new opportunities for yourself and new perspectives on how you can serve your clients in a memorable way! Now that’s creative power!
