As an acclaimed speaker and mentor, Andria S. Hudson has risen to national prominence by delivering an empowering message of hope and healing.

She is the founder and CEO of ASH Enterprises Inc., a corporation and lifestyle brand of mentorship and empowerment for business and the arts. ASH Enterprises hosts women’s conferences, business symposiums, teleconferences, and webinars for professional development, branding, and image consulting.

With over 25 years of experience in theater, Andria has produced several theatrical stage productions in the Midwest giving countless opportunities to actors and actresses. Sold out credits include “Twisted Passions”, “Worth the Wait Too”, and “Leading While Bleeding”.

What were some obstacles that you faced in the beginning process of starting your business or career? Although entrepreneurship is an exciting journey, it is a journey of many obstacles, and one of the main obstacles that I encountered was the principle of trial and error. Trial and error teach you what works exclusively for you and what does not.

What inspired you to break into your industry? You must stay true to your passion and your “why”. My “why” of serving and empowering others through the arts and business led me to my industry of being an Author and Empowerment Coach.

How do you balance your personal and professional life, or have you been able to find a balance? I don’t believe there is a perfect balance of one’s personal and professional life. However, I do believe that you must know the culture of your life. Organizational skills are essential. There are times you may give more to certain things in certain seasons and you cannot feel guilty about it.

What is an inspirational quote that you live by? One of my favorite biblical scriptures that keeps me grounded as a wife, leader, and entrepreneur is Philippians 4:13. “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” As a little girl, my parents repeatedly taught my 6 siblings and me, that there was nothing that we could not accomplish in life as long as we kept God a priority.

Who is one influential person and/or mentor that has helped or encouraged you along the way? My mother is my greatest, inspirational female BOSS. She is a mother of seven natural children, wife to one husband (my father) of 44 years, a successful serial entrepreneur, and a spiritual leader to many for decades. She gives selflessly to her family and her community.

What are your "must-haves" to keep your career or business going strong? A non-negotiable and a “must-have” for my business is working with a team that is aligned with my vision and goals. It is refreshing to have men and women who are willing to think out of the box and don’t mind being “stretched.” That’s how BOSSES are truly created.

What is your definition of a BOSS? My definition of a BOSS is the following: BOLD OPTIMIST SYNCHRONIZED SPIRITUALLY. A BOSS is a brave, courageous individual who intentionally focuses on the good in every situation and relies on the grace of God.

Provide us with two words that describe you? Gracefully, I am an Empowerment Coach.
