What were some obstacles that you faced in the beginning process of starting your business or career? My biggest challenge was learning to separate business relationships from personal ones. As I elevated in my career, I experienced colleagues having difficulties seeing me as their superior.

What inspired you to break into your industry? I honestly ventured into this career field as a temporary receptionist. I did not foresee being the Area Manager in less than 5 years.

How do you balance your personal and professional life, or have you been able to find a balance? My goal has always been to separate the two by allowing work to be work, and home to be home. I refrain from discussing work when I am at home. I believe that the emotions of the two settings should not be intertwined.

What is an inspirational quote that you live by? “Such as life”! We may not always agree with the way life goes, but it's life, and we must learn to navigate through all obstacles.

Who were some influential people or mentors that helped or encouraged you along the way? A good friend of mine, who I will not name, has really inspired me on so many levels. He is a great example of a businessman and also, he displays what life looks like juggling his businesses while still maintaining a solid career.

What are your "must-haves" to keep your career or business going strong? I MUST surround myself with people that I can trust! This is huge to me.

What is your definition of a BOSS? A BOSS is any person who is strong enough to navigate through the obstacles that life brings and still manages to find the Sunshine at the end of the tunnel.

Provide us with two words that describe you? Determined and Focused
