First things, first! Physical health and wellness are crucial for overall well-being. Eating right, having regular check-ups, meditating, and doing yoga or regular exercise is important. The best way to get into a good routine is to pick a good time to exercise daily on the treadmill whether that be in the morning or after work. When you take time out for yourself, it allows you to have the energy and be able to focus on your business or career.

As an example, in November, to eat healthier I want to start fasting Monday through Friday, eating window from 11am to 7pm. Do not eat in the evening, although I be craving my late-night snacks or cooking right before I go to bed. In addition, on the weekends make sure to just devote to salads, smoothies, healthier snacks, fruit and avoid fast food.

A balanced diet & exercise can help prevent chronic diseases, improve mental health, boost energy levels, and promote longevity. When you listen to your body that will help to detect what your body likes and dislikes. Eliminate junk food, processed food, and especially Door Dash or Uber Eats because you always want to get a burger or some pizza. I’m guilty of it too!

Make sure to set aside 1-2hrs after your ‘9 to 5’ to work on your business plan, finances or marketing strategy for your business. That way you are making time for your business regularly. Whereas, if you don’t have a regular day job, you have all the time in the world to see that your business has the proper procedures in place. Map out time throughout the day by making yourself a schedule of your fitness, health, food, meetings/appts, calls & business.

Recommend developing a healthy routine 2-3 times a week, not just one day out of the month, and quit. Once you get into a good flow you will feel more confident and accomplished that you are reaching your health goals. I know for myself it will be best to stick to a routine that I must commit to get in shape, achieve a slimmer waist and detox regularly. Prioritizing physical health can also lead to increased productivity, better sleep, and improved self-esteem.

Once you have a routine established, you may have time for your health goals and business goals. A very good way to manage your time is to keep a planner, whether it’s on a Google Calendar or your personalized planner that can be purchased at a CVS, Target or FedEx. As for myself, I’m old fashion and I must have a planner so I can write everything down.

It's very important to prioritize a healthy lifestyle to improve overall health and quality of life when it comes to your business and well-being.

Key Takeaway:

Make a habit of taking care of your health, eating right, mapping out time to focus on your business goals and finding a routine to stick with daily.
