We Are Inspired By This BOSS: Carla Gentry Osorio

Carla Gentry Osorio, celebrity hairstylist and co-owner of Styles New York Salon, nestled in midtown Manhattan, chose to share her talents as a hair designer and make our world a more beautiful place. Carla's self-described signature aesthetic is shiny, healthy hair with lots of movement.

Carla Gentry Osorio's clients include some of Hollywood's best-tressed actresses. Affectionately known as one of the styling community's best 'track-star,' for her expertise in weaves, hair colorand cuts, she is the ‘go-to’ stylist for many celebrities. Her celebrity roster includes JadaPinkett Smith, star of the TNT drama, "HawthoRNe," and wife of Hollywood box-office powerhouse, Will Smith.

She has also worked with Gabrielle Union, in Lifetime's upcoming 'Army Wives' spinoff, as
well as Kelly Osbourne, Sofia Vergara, Mary J. Blige and Regina Hall. Carla’s work has
also been featured in commercial ad campaigns for The Gap and Reebok. In addition,
Carla’s work has graced the pages of InStyle, Essence, Hamptons Magazine, Interview
Magazine and Vibe Magazine and runway shows for designer Carmen Marc Valvo.

As a Washington, DC native, Carla knew early in her career which path she wanted to
take. This led her to move to New York City where her creativity and attention to detail
catapulted her into the spotlight where she was able to showcase her talent. Although
Carla has worked in media ranging from music videos to editorials and album packaging
to commercials, her favorite bookings are personal appearances, where she has direct
interaction with her clients and the final results of her work are tangible.

Carla focuses her energy on maintaining her clientele and working with private celebrity
clients. Carla is a stylist that prides herself in excellence and gives nothing less than
200%. In a world where true talent is often taken for granted and unused, it is refreshing
to see a stylist like Carla taking the time to bring out the best in the people that she
touches and the styles she creates.

Beauty is in the splendor of each season-

It can be found in the giving
and in those who take nothing for granted--
This is to see her. To behold Beauty's quintessential elements of love is to know her.
To have a wholesome or kind nature is to be her.
And to cherish that which God has blessed you with, is to care for her!
