Lovette Ajayi is a social media and web strategist. Her background is in marketing, communications, and new media, specifically relating to nonprofits. She’s presented at several conferences on these topics, including the Nonprofit Technology Conference, Chicago Social Media Summit, NeighborWorks Symposium, Tutor-Mentor Conference, BlogHer, Blogging While Brown, and Blogalicious.
She’s also passionate about social justice, an admitted social media addict, a blogaholic, and a lover of shoes. She combined all of these loves and co-founded The Red Pump Project <http://www.redpump.org/> with Karyn Watkins. Their work has earned them a Congressional Record from the U.S. House of Representatives as well as recognition from the City of Chicago Council.
