Building a Brand That Nourishes: The Power of Purpose in Entrepreneurship By Kaylenne Brown, Founder of PB Eatz

Kaylenne Brown, Health and wellness trailblazer on a mission to help busy professionals reclaim their energy and thrive. I share no-fluff tips, plant-powered strategies, and mindset shifts that turn wellness into a lifestyle—because feeling good isn’t optional, it’s essential.

When I started Plant-Based Eatz, I thought I was just launching a food brand. I wanted to share soulful, healthy meals that reflected my own transition to a plant-based lifestyle. But as the vision evolved, I realized I wasn’t just building a business, I was building a platform.

At the heart of PB Eatz is a mission to nourish from the inside out. Yes, we create food, but our real product is wellness with intention. We serve busy people who are hungry for more than convenience; they’re hungry for alignment, energy, and care.

As a veteran and woman of color, I’ve lived through seasons where I had to put everyone else first, where survival came before nourishment. I know what it’s like to push through, to lead while empty. That’s why my business model doesn’t just reflect what I do, but why I do it.

PB Eatz is built around values:

  • Access – Wellness shouldn’t be reserved for the privileged
  • Representation – Cultural food identity belongs in the health conversation
  • Legacy – The work we do now should feed generations to come

That’s why I’m expanding into something bigger than meal prep:

A shelf-stable plant-based MRE (Meal, Ready-to-Eat) that supports energy, convenience, and nutrition—designed for people on the move, in transition, or in need.

Digital wellness resources that help families and individuals eat with purpose, even in their busiest seasons.

These aren’t just products. They’re tools to disrupt systems that make wellness feel inaccessible. Whether it’s a single mom looking for a quick, healthy option, or an organization responding to a crisis, I want PB Eatz to be the name they trust when they say: “I need nourishment now.”

This isn’t about perfection, it’s about presence. It’s about creating a business that makes space for healing, flavor, and freedom. And it’s about showing future generations that wellness can be owned, led, and redefined.🌱
