Building With Intention: My Journey Through Pathways to Success by Kaylenne Brown

Being selected as a participant in the BOSS Pathways to Success program came at a pivotal moment in my journey as a founder. I had the vision for PB Eatz and a strong sense of purpose, but this experience challenged me to refine how I think, build, and communicate as a business leader. From the beginning, the program emphasized clarity. Not just what I am building, but why it matters and who it serves. It pushed me to define the problem PB Eatz is solving with greater precision and to align every part of the business with that purpose. That level of clarity became the foundation for everything that followed. As the program progressed, I began to approach my business with more structure and intention. From pricing and positioning to pitching and preparation, I learned how to communicate value in a way that is both confident and grounded in strategy. This was not about memorizing a pitch. It was about understanding the business at a deeper level and being able to articulate that with dis...

Kaylenne Brown , Health and wellness trailblazer on a mission to help busy professionals reclaim their energy and thrive. I share no-fluff tips, plant-powered strategies, and mindset shifts that turn wellness into a lifestyle—because feeling good isn’t optional, it’s essential. When I started Plant-Based Eatz, I thought I was just launching a food brand. I wanted to share soulful, healthy meals that reflected my own transition to a plant-based lifestyle. But as the vision evolved, I realized I wasn’t just building a business, I was building a platform. At the heart of PB Eatz is a mission to nourish from the inside out. Yes, we create food, but our real product is wellness with intention. We serve busy people who are hungry for more than convenience; they’re hungry for alignment, energy, and care. As a veteran and woman of color, I’ve lived through seasons where I had to put everyone else first, where survival came before nourishment. I know what it’s like to push through, to lead whil...

Flow Over Hustle: Redefining Productivity for Purpose-Driven Women by Kaylenne Brown

Kaylenne Brown,  Health and wellness trailblazer on a mission to help busy professionals reclaim their energy and thrive. I share no-fluff tips, plant-powered strategies, and mindset shifts that turn wellness into a lifestyle—because feeling good isn’t optional, it’s essential. For years, I wore “busy” like a badge of honor. Long nights, skipped meals, calendar packed to the brim, it felt like the price you paid to build something meaningful. But beneath the surface of that grind was exhaustion, anxiety, and the creeping feeling that I was always behind. It took burnout (more than once) for me to ask a deeper question: What if productivity wasn’t about doing more—but about doing what matters, in alignment with how I move best? As women, and especially as Black women entrepreneurs, we’ve been conditioned to believe hustle is the only path to success. But I’ve learned that flow is where the real magic happens, when your work, wellness, and creativity are in rhythm with your body, not...

As women entrepreneurs, especially Black women, we’re often expected to be everything to everyone—leaders, nurturers, visionaries, and problem-solvers. But in the pursuit of success, many of us unintentionally neglect our most vital resource: our health. For years, I believed pushing through exhaustion was just part of the grind. It wasn’t until I burned out—mentally, emotionally, and physically—that I realized something essential: my business can’t thrive if I’m running on empty. Health isn’t separate from your success; it’s the engine that drives it. Whether you're scaling a product line, managing a team, or building from scratch, your ability to show up, make decisions, and lead with clarity all stems fr...
