TheBOSSNetwork: What were some obstacles that you faced in the beginning process off starting your business or career? LH: I struggled with trust in the beginning process of starting my business. Unfortunately, I allowed a few negative experiences to overshadow the potential for new opportunities. I’ve since come to know and appreciate the value of surrounding myself with people who truly support each other and resist the urge to compete or compare. From the moment founder Cameka Smith introduced me to the BOSS Network, I was instantly moved, inspired and eager to learn more. Her words spoke to me, I felt her cause, and knew immediately I had to be a part of this amazing organization. Since joining the organization a year ago, I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet numerous like-minded women whom I consider to be trailblazers in their area of expertise. From near and far, this wonderful group of powerful women has given so much to me. Their advice, stories, referrals, hugs, and of course words of encouragement all embody true sisterhood! I enjoy being apart of BOSS because we work together as a team to strengthen each other’s goals and pay it forward with out expectations.
