I meditated for a while about what I would blog about for the month of March.  I kept trying to figure out how I could cleverly present to you some useful legal advice, which you could put in your BOSS informational arsenal.  However, as I pondered about what legal advice to provide, I realized that you would need more than one blog to understand ANY legal subject matter.  I, also, figured that I could present to you a more interesting read.  I mean who REALLY wants to read about contracts? Ms. Tania Peterson Chandler began her career in the human services field shortly after graduating from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a degree in Legal Studies. Guided by her desire to help those involved in the Criminal Justice System she began working for a not for profit agency as a Court Advocate for adolescents.   Motivated by her continued passion to help, she continued her career at her current employer The Education & Assistance Corporation (EAC), a leading not-for-profit organization in the New York metropolitan area. Judge Kimberly Esmond Adams began her term on the Fulton County Superior Court in January, 2009.  The Fulton Superior Court is the largest and busiest trial court in the State of Georgia.  Prior to her election, Judge Adams served the citizens of Fulton County as a Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Office of the Fulton County District Attorney for nearly six years where she prosecuted major felony cases, including homicides and crimes against women and children.  She began her public service career in 2002 after more than three years of practice as an employment attorney with a national labor and employment boutique.  A past president of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA), Judge Adams has served in a number of leadership capacities, both professionally and in her community.  She has served on the boards of the Atlanta Technical College Foundation, The Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys Foundation, the Boys and Gi...
